ABOUT THE SAN JOSE HHH

The San José HHH runs EVERY OTHER SATURDAY usually at 4:00 pm if not sometimes earlier if a swimming pool or activity warrants it.

SJHHH pack of some 12 to 20 with member pedigree ranges from Costa Rican, U.S., British (English & Welsh), Canadian, Belgium to South African and Island Hoppers!
Due to hilly mountainous and sometimes rough terrain, darkness at 6 pm and pack ages, run distances are usually short compared to other hashes at 4-5 Km or 3 miles or so which result in 3/4 to 1 hr runs-walks.
Domestic Beers names range from world renown German style lagers of: Imperial, Pilsen and Bavaria to the locally brewed Dutch Suds of Heineken and generally have a 4.5% to 5 % alcohol content.
Most beers sell for about $1.60 in Bars and $1.00 in Supermarkets.
Hashing with SJHHH is usually bring your own brew and food if at a private venue

or buy your own if at a Public Establishment i.e. Bar / Restaurant.

Hares at private venues usually have some brew on hand (free or for sale) for those who forget to bring their own and for new boots who didn't read this.
